Create your Google review QR code and table card

Paste the “Ask for reviews” link from your Google Business Profile, type your venue's name and pick a design: the tool produces a print-ready A6 table card and the QR code on its own. Everything runs in your browser, with no account and no watermark.

Create your review table card

The card updates as you type. Downloading unlocks as soon as the link is usable; the file is an A6 PNG (105 × 148 mm) at 300 dpi, ready for an office printer or a print shop.

In your Google profile: “Ask for reviews”, then copy the link. Where is it?

Card design

The file is set to 300 dpi: printed at “actual size”, the card measures 105 × 148 mm.

Where should the table card go to get reviews?

A review gets written when the guest has time and an opinion. The places that work are the ones guests pass at the end of the meal, not on arrival.

  • The bill folder or payment tray. The guest has just paid and is waiting for their card: the best moment.
  • The counter or till. For takeaway, cafés and bars, where guests wait.
  • The exit or cloakroom. A reminder on the way out, as long as it reads standing up.
  • The receipt. The QR code alone can be printed at the foot of the receipt if your till allows it.
  • Print at 100 %, without “fit to page”, to keep the QR code's proportions.
  • On an office printer, print on an A4 sheet at actual size, then cut the card along its edges.
  • Keep the QR code at least 3 cm across for reading at the table.
  • Scan a printed copy with two different phones before placing them everywhere.
  • Printing from a phone often fits the image to the page: for the exact size, print from a computer or hand the file to a print shop.

What Google's rules forbid

Asking for a review is allowed and encouraged by Google. What is not allowed is steering the result. Google can remove the reviews concerned, and a review obtained that way ends up costing more than it brings.

  • Offering something in return. A coffee, a discount or a prize draw in exchange for a review: forbidden, even for an “honest” review.
  • Filtering guests. Asking “Were you happy?” and sending only those who say yes to Google. This tool's card speaks to every guest the same way for that reason.
  • Having staff or friends write reviews. A review has to come from a real guest experience.

Change profile without reprinting, and count the scans

The QR code made here encodes your Google link as it is. If your profile changes one day (two profiles merged, a new name), printed cards will keep pointing to the old link.

With a SimplyRestau account, the “Leave a review” QR code goes through a SimplyRestau address that redirects to your profile: you paste the same “Ask for reviews” link once into “My web page”, fix it there if your profile changes, and cards already in place keep working. From the Essential plan, the number of scans also appears in your statistics, next to your menu's. Setup is described in the help centre: set up the review QR code in SimplyRestau.

What this tool does with your data

Nothing is transmitted. The card and the QR code are drawn in your browser; the name and link you type never leave your device. No Google API is called: the tool only checks the shape of the link.

The files are yours: no watermark, no account, no expiry. The QR code encodes your link and nothing else.

Frequently asked questions

Is this Google review QR code really free?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark, no quota and no expiry. The card and QR code you download are yours and work for as long as your Google review link stays valid.

What is the difference between the review link and my Google Maps profile link?

The review link, from “Ask for reviews”, opens the window to write a review directly. The profile link opens the venue's page: the guest still has to find the button. The tool accepts both but flags the second.

Can I put this QR code on my menu or receipt?

Yes. The “QR code only” button produces a square PNG to place on any support. Keep it at least 3 cm across with a white margin around the code.

What happens if my review link changes?

The printed QR code keeps opening the old link: you have to reprint. With a SimplyRestau account, the QR code goes through an address that redirects to your profile, and you fix the link without touching the supports.
